After the Eberspacher takeover, Ardic heater production continued well into the millennium to allow the Volkswagen Audi and Volvo contracts to be fulfilled. The 432DL air heater was the first Ardic to cease production as Eberspacher already had a well established range of comparable units. The Ardic range of petrol and diesel fired water heaters continued on and the last units were probably the ones fitted in the Volvo XC90.
With all heater production at an end, the old Ardic factory in Trollhättan remained for exhaust production, as a warehouse for Ardic spare parts and as the Swedish base for Eberspacher.
Today Espar hold considerable stock of Ardic spare parts, our stock holding is such that we hope to support the product for many years to come. We also have the Ardic diagnostic equipment required for unlocking the 423DL, 912DW, 952DW, 952BW and 954DW.
